Principles
Brahm Eiley
Prior to founding Convergence in 1996, Mr. Eiley worked for an infrastructure start-up, Monitor Co., the Premier's Council (Government of Ontario), as well as editing, producing and writing for CBC, CTV, and NPR, and writing for publications including Digital Media, Financial Post (winning two Andersen Consulting Business Technology Writing Awards), MIT's Technology Review, Unisys' Solutions Magazine, Upside Magazine. Mr. Eiley was born in Montreal, grew up in Southern California where he attended LJCDS, and holds a BA from Tufts and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Mr. Eiley lives in Victoria, BC with his wife and two children.

Roy Rosner
Mr. Rosner has more than thirty years of Product Development and Product Marketing experience in the field of advanced telecommunications and data communications networking. Prior to becoming a consultant, Roy worked for a number of telecommunications equipment, software, and service provider organizations.

At Bell Laboratories he led the development of laser/optical communications systems and high-speed data modems. During ten years working for the Defense Communications Agency he led efforts in advanced data communications and packet switching, leading to the conversion of the Defense Department's Worldwide Military Command and Control Systems to high speed packet switching and Internet Protocol based networking.

At Telenet/Sprint Communications he was Senior Vice President for Product Development, responsible for the development of network switching equipment, access concentrators and protocol conversion devices. As President of GSI-Danet, Inc. he was responsible for the development, sales, and marketing of advanced telecommunications and electronic mail software and systems. At Teleport Communications Group as Vice President/General Manager of Data and Private Line Services, he deployed the first nationwide high speed data services using ATM technology for both LAN and WAN interconnection applications.

Mr. Rosner, holds an MBA, from George Washington University and a Ph.D, EE, from Cooper Union. Roy is the author of five books, more than fifty technical publications & conference presentations, and taught data networking as an adjunct instructor at George Washington University, 1976-1994. Mr. Rosner lives in Florida with his wife.
